The Realtor Association of Martin County (Florida) reported an increase in single family homes sales over the same period last year. For the month of March 2008, 156 single famiy homes were sold in Martin County versus 132 homes sold in March 2007. In addition, inventories have decreased. In March 2008, there were 2752 single family homes on the market in Martin County as compared to 2980 in 2007. This is excellent news for the real estate market in this area. For sellers, it means it should take less time to sell a home (if it is priced right). Last year at this time we had enough homes on the market to last for 22 months. That number is significantly down to under 18-months. A tried and true means to sell your home is to price it right. If you have it listed for sale and you are getting 0 activity, it is priced to high for the current market. For more real estate information visit my website at www.Keys2Fla.com
