Huntington Beach Dog Beach is located in a stretch of Huntington City Beach along Pacific Coast Highway between Seapoint Street and Golden West Street. You must drive south on Pacific Coast Highway beyond Seapoint Street to enter the closest parking lots to this beach, where pay meters charge $0.25 per 10 minutes. Dog Beach is a public beach open free of charge as the only beach where you may take your dog in Huntington Beach. It is located down a sloped hill north of the parking lots. Hotels that accept dogs include Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort (10 pounds or less), Residence Inn Huntington Beach, The Pacific Inn - Seal Beach (7 miles from Dog Beach), Balboa Inn in Newport Beach (8.5 miles). SEE HOTELS THAT ACCEPT PETS
Located at Towers 20, 22 and 24, Huntington Beach Dog Beach has its own clean up employees who clean up the beach seven days a week. They work in conjunction with work in conjunction with Lifeguards and Police Officers and request your help in picking up by utilizing one of the 60 dog bag dispensers between 9th Street and Seapoint Street. Children and adults walk on the same beaches and swim in the water, sharing it with the dogs so it is important to keep the area clean for all life.
While Huntington Beach, California is a pet-friendly city, the hotel options for pet accommodations are limited. As of this writing, only one resort, Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort has a policy to accept pets of 10 pounds or less in Huntington Beach. There are several hotels close to the Huntington Beach border that accept pets, allowing you take advantage of the city's great pet amenities. If you are traveling in an RV, you can keep your pet with you in nearby Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington City Beach's Sunset Vista RV Camping or Huntington by the Sea RV camping facility.
