Chandler's best price for gasoline - Chandler Costco. Chandler's best price for gasoline is the Chandler Costco. Even before the run up of gas priceslast year, I have paid attention to the price of gasoline. Its interesting that there is so much difference in price for such a commodity. The difference between the lowest and highest price gas stations can be upwards of 25 cents/gallon. This difference over time can add up to many dollars.

Today I filled up at the Chandler Costco, just south of the Chandler Fashion Center. The price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.39/gallon. Filling 15 gallons cost me about $36.00...however, if you use your Costco American Express card, you save 3 cents/gallon or in my case ($2.36/gallon) or 45 cents. On my drive home, I past another Chandler gas station and the price was $2.65/gallon. That is a 29 cents savings per gallon! ...or $4.35 for this trip if I filled up at the other gas station.

Chandler Restaurants - Native New Yorker is a great place to relax and have some great tasting chicken wings. Tuesday night is 35 cent wing night at the Chandler Native New Yorker. Wings are usually 55 cent each, but on Tuesdays, with the purchase of a drink, all the wings are 35 cent each. You can also combine it with their daily 3pm-7pm happy hour where most appetizers are half price.

The Chandler Native New Yorker has the traditional mild, medium, hot, and suicide hot wings. They also have some unique tasty wings such as honey BBQ, honey hot, strawberry hot, pineapple teriyaki, oriental garlic...just to name a few.

We had our some delicious wings tonight for Tuesday Wing Night. We both love the Honey Hot wings.

Vincent also wanted a few medium hot wings for a bit of variety

Ordering wings is very flexible..you can order 1, 2, 7, 11 or any number of wings. You're not limited to multiples of 6 or 12 as in many places. Each order of wings comes with a side of ranch and carrots and celery sticks.

The Native New Yorker in Arizona has won numerous award for their wings...and for good reason!

Chandler Restaurants - Vietnamese Restaurant Saigon Pho

One of our favorite Chandler restaurants for Vietnamese cuisine is Saigon Pho. It's a homey restaurant with delicious food at a great value. This past weekend, we there for dinner. Upon entering Saigon Pho, we were surprised by new paint colors, new decor on the walls, new booths and modern pendant lighting. Fortunately, the restaurant is still under the same management, but just went through some updating of the interior. It's a more modern looking interior...this seems to be the trend in Asian restraurants in Chandler.

We ordered our usage egg rolls for appetizers. They were crispy and tasty.

We both got our usual noodle (bun) dishes of BBQ pork and egg rolls and BBQ pork and grilled shirmp. The pork was tasty with a great BBQ grill taste and so was the grilled shrimp. With the new décor we were happy that the food was still as delicious and the service was still efficient.

Saigon Pho also has great Pho (soupy noodle dish) and other dishes, including their special house fried rice and crab with XO sauce. So, whenever you are in the mood for some delicious food at a Chandler Restauant at a resonable price, go visit Saigon Pho.

Gilbert Restaurants - Joe's Farm Grill is in Gilbert's Agritopia Farm. Joe's Farm Grill features common American foods made with natural/organic ingredients. Juicy hamburgers with sweet potatoes fries, BBQ ribs, and pizzas are some of the items on the menu. The building was once the home of restaurant owner, Joe Johnston, but has been transformed into a restaurant.

Place an order at the window and then move outside to the mature trees and picnic tables or sit inside at the the dining area, which was once the kitchen of the house. For dessert, you can have one of their delicious milkshakes, made from real ice-cream and milk.

To thank the local community for their support, Joe has been hosting a free meal day the past couple of years. If you can't wait in line for customer appreciation day, you can also get a $10 credit toward a meal on your birthday. Joe's Farm Grill has been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.

Chandler Real Estate - Phoenix has record Number of Homes sold in June 2009. Buyers are buying homes in Chandler and the Phoenix metro area. For the Phoenix metro area, including Chandler, June has the record number of homes sold since beginnng of 2009. The 9,219 homes sold in June is the highest number of homes sold/month so far this year. It is also the highest number fo homes sold in June in the last few years! From the graph below , you can see that June 2009 home sales exceed the number homes sold in June 2008, June 2007, or June 2006. June had a higher number of homes sold during the recent boom markets in 2004 and 2005.

With all buyers buying homes in Phoenix, this is another indication that the market is moving from away from a buyer's market and toward a balance market or even a seller's market in some areas and price ranges. We also see situations where there are multiple bids for properties, for above asking, and even biding wars.
