Henry A Setaro, President of Appleseed Homes along with his management team, administrative staff and the over 125 sales associates announced with great pride the success of their Bowl-A-Thon for the Wounded Warrior Project.

To date Mr. Setaro stated we have raised in excess of $11,000 dollars and donations are still coming in.

The Bowl-A-Thon attracted over 120 bowlers. The event was attended by members of the Wounded Warriors Project, Appleseed Homes Realtors, some of the Sopranos cast members including, Dan Grimaldi, and Vincent Pastore also supported by many lone sponsors who we would like to mention and thank:

Special thanks to Showplace Bowling Center for their professional assistance and our American soldiers Jeremy Lenker and Ryan Miller. Food and refreshments were donated in part by Giorgio & Son as well as pastries and cookies from The Brooklyn Cannoli Company.

The Appleseed staff held raffles and 50/50 and sold tee shirts in support of the Wounded Warriors. We still have a supply of Wounded Warrior tee shirts and are asking anyone reading this release to help us by making a $20.00 donation at any of our 6 offices throughout Staten Island and Brooklyn and receive a “free Wounded Warrior Tee shirt”. $20.00 is a small token of thanks for giving all of us peace of mind.

The young men and women of this proud country “Manned Up” after 9/11 and confronted the enemy to make it clear “we were not going to be violated on our home turf anymore”. They have for the past 9 years, allowed us to feel safe by giving of themselves.

“A veteran, is someone who at one point in his or her life wrote a blank check made payable to “United States Of America” for an amount of…”up to and including my life” That is HONOR! There are too many people in this country who no longer understand that, but thank God for our young men and women in uniform who do!!

Once again, all donations can be dropped off to any one of our 6 offices and checks made out to “Wounded Warrior Project.

We are planning a spring/summer event and hope we will have the support of all those Americans who understand the help these veterans need who return from battle with major physical damage as well as emotional trauma.

I would like to thank the Appleseed Staff who again gave 100% to assure the success of programs like the Wounded Warrior Project, as well as other programs to help make a difference for the less fortunate.

Maria Isola - Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, Staten Island, New York

Description
Hi, I'm Maria Isola and I work at Appleseed Homes GMAC at 4651 HylanBlvd. There are many reasons why I enjoy helping people with their real estate needs. Perhaps the most obvious is the deep satisfaction that comes from helping people realize their dreams, as well as helping them through the major transition that accompanies selling, buying and moving. In fact, I've been helping people in your neighborhood since 2000, so you could say I know your area well.

Another reason is that selling real estate is a real learning process. No two clients are the same, no two listings are the same and no two deals are the same. Each has its own characteristics and challenges. However, it is particularly through overcoming the challenges that I learn the lessons that enable me to improve my quality of service. In fact, learning from our experiences and continually refining our service to the customer is a very important part of what GMAC Real Estate calls Premier Service--a unique and tangible customer service experience that includes my own written pledge to your satisfaction.

It is this ongoing commitment to first-class service that enables me to confidently say that if I can't answer a specific home-related question, I'm just a phone call or email away from all the resources and expertise of the powerful GMAC Real Estate network to get you the answer. So, if you've considered buying or selling or if you have any home-related questions, please don't hesitate to call or email me.

Maria Isola
