Realtor with Access Realty of Idaho. Office is located in Caldwell Idaho. The area I service is the Treasure Valley from Boise to Fruitland. I specialize in residential real estate and small acreages
I have been a Realtor for 9 years and really love my job. I have worked with many types of clients from 1st time homebuyers to empty nesters to many landowners. I lived in Ada County until my late 30's and have lived in Canyon County since 1990. I enjoy helping clients all over the Treasure Valley from Boise to Fruitland.
I have been married for 29 years and we have 4 children so I understand about juggling work and family. That helps me help my clients better because I understand how busy everyone is these days. As a Realtor I do all the running around, scheduling, follow up, phone calls and everything else involved in your real estate transaction so that you can concentrate on the other aspects of your busy life.
As a Realtor I must follow strict ethics guidelines and Imust also take classes every year to stay up to date with this constantly changing business. It is my job to know real estate in the geographical area that I work. I am proud of upholding the strict standards that allow me to use the Realtor designation. I firmly believe that it is everyone's right, no matter what race, religion, family status, sex, etc.. to own a home if they qualify financially and there is no better feeling than being at the end of the transaction and seeing the light in my clients eyes as I hand them the keys to their home.
As a Realtor I hold designations that show I have had extra education in different aspects of real estate. I am a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) I have a designation in new home sales (CSP) and I have earned the accredited buyer's representative (ABR). I am working on aquiring other designations because I feel it is important to gather as much knowledge as I can so that I will be more effective with all kinds of clients.
I really enjoy working with 1st time homebuyers and I teach a class a couple of times a year to people who want to learn about the process and also to people that have been sent by their lenders so that they can get a discount on their mortgages. I was part of the steering committee that worked to bring this prpogram to our area and it has helped new buyers learn all the ins and outs of purchasing and owning a home.
I also enjoy working with people that own or want to buy small areages. Living in Canyon County gives me lots of opportunity to do this type of real estate. There is so much to learn and know about selling land and helping buyers purchase that type of real estate that it keeps me constantly striving to stay on top of it for my clients.
Another area I love in real estate is old homes. When I had been a Realtor for about a year my husband and I purchased a home built in 1918. That has made it very interesting to help others that want to buy or sell an old home. There is so much involved in this type of real estate that it is important to help clients be aware of the many details that can be a problem or a plus in an old home. Since purchasing our home I have assisted several clients buy and sell this type of property.
When working with buyers it is important that they know how much home they can purchase. That is why the first step should always be to meet with your lender (if you don't have one I will introduce you to lenders that fit your needs). From there I help you figure out area, size, type and price of home that will work best for you and or your family. It is an important process. After THE home is found another process starts and I am always there to make sure all the steps are being followed and everything is going smoothly. There are times that things don't go as planned and I am still there putting the pieces back together, holding your hand and continuing to get you to the closing table and into your home. Hving a Realtor with knowledge and experience and the ability to hang in there through the good and bad and be there for you after the closing and beyond should be important to you. I am that Realtor.
When working with sellers a Realtor must be honest and direct so that a seller can get the home sold in the shortest amount of time and for the best price. A Realtor has to be able to help the seller see what needs to be done as far as improvements such as cleaning, staging, repairs, lawn work, painting and other things that will show the house to the best advantage. A Realtor also has an important job when it comes to pricing the home. We are the experts if we know the area, have found all the comps that apply to the sellers home and have done all our research for that seller. Then can we aid the homeowner in coming to the price that will get them what they need to move on to their next investment. I am that Realtor.
Keeping abreast of market stats, knowing the housing inventory, getting education on a regular basis, taking care of the client for life, being honest and ethical, helping people find the information about real estate that they are searching for is all part of being a good, efficient and concerned Realtor. I feel that I can be that Realtor for you.
