Caslano, a gated community, is a great place to live and with only one lot left you had better act fast. One of the biggest perks is being so close to the U.T. Golf Club but Steiner Ranch also offers an array of Shops, Restaraunts, and health spas. Oh and dont forget about the Lake Austin Spa Resort.
Located on what was once the legendary Steiner Ranch, Caslano on Lake Austin features 38 large home sites, created with sensitivity to space, privacy and nature. Caslano offers 18 lakefront home sites ranging from 2.52 to 11.81 acres); 10 lake view home sites ranging from 2.96 to 8 acres or 10 ranchette home sites ranging from 2.95 to 11.89 acres).
Lago Vista Golf Courses are quite a treat offering a challenge and reward game play. There are 3 golf courses in Lago Vista that are unique to the area and display treats for all levels and tastes. It doesn't get much better than Lago Vista Golf, but you had better bring your 'A' game!
The first one is the Lago Vista Golf Club a (semi-private) 18 hole par 72 course which can vary in degree in difficulty. Overall the course is in great shape and has great greens with a great driving range overlooking the lake. To cool off after a round of golf there is the newly opened Sports Bar & Grille which has a full menu, great drink selection and PLASMA TV's everywhere to watch the games.
The second course Highland Lakes (semi-private) is another 18 hole facility offering immaculate manicured greens and fairways a little more expensive but just a really fun course to play. The facility is going through a facelift so to speak and doesn't offer all the amenities as LVGC but pound-for-pound a great course.
Bar-K Ranch (public) is a 9-hole pitch-n-putt. This course is a great place to brush up on your short game and really just let loose. There is technically no cart path (off-road), and you cant guarantee the greens are kept up or even the fairway for that matter but thats where the challenge is. Aside from the course the views are great and there is virtually no development along the course. Overall for less than $20 you can play 18.

Lago Vista Real Estate has become very popular as of lately in part due to its lake setting but the Austin is extending its boundaries causing people to escape the reach. With growth of our own in Lago Vista we are experiencing new restaurants, grocery stores, and even more on the horizon. The growth of the community is in good hands due to the responsible growth plans for the city. Overall Lago Vista Real Estate offers a lifestyle not found in other areas.
