Laguna Beach is Southern California's premier seaside artist haven. Though world famous, Laguna Beach still possesses a unique small-town charm rarely found anywhere else. Dana Point is situated on the beautiful Southern California coast, halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles. Homes range from cliff side contemporarys to beach cottages, private gated homes with stunning views of the ocean, evening sunsets, and Catalina Island, as well as condos and town homes. Dana Point prides itself with nearly seven miles of coastal bluffs and rolling hills along the Pacific Ocean with its charming beaches and wild surfs. Most noteworthy of these bluffs is a unique promontory known as the "Headlands", which overlooks Dana Point Harbor, one of the most significant man-made alterations of the Orange County coastline. Dana Point encompasses 6.5 square miles and is home to 35,110 people and numerous businesses, working together as one community. You can see this collaboration in action during some of the City's annual festivals and events such as the Turkey Trot in November, Festival of Whales in March, and its 4th of July fireworks show. San Juan Capistrano The city of San Juan Capistrano is located in the center of Southern California, midway between Los Angeles and San Diego and all of Southern California's major attractions. Situated in the lush Capistrano Valley and minutes from the Pacific Ocean, San Juan Capistrano is a cultural center, filled with Historic sites. San Juan Capistrano is home of the Swallows of Capistrano, who have returned to the Mission San Juan Capistrano for centuries to nest and have their young in the valley. The Mission San Juan Capistrano is one of California's most beautiful sites known as, "The Jewel of the Missions". While San Juan Capistrano has maintained it's small town charm, protected it's open space and preserved it's History, it offers the best in economic opportunity, education and suburban living. San Clemente is regarded as "the Spanish Village by the Sea", due to the enduring ambiance originally created by its founder. The city enjoys a rich tradition of surfing legends, and is today the headquarters for a number of surfing industries. One of the most well known point breaks in the world is located in San Clemente. Trestles is just south of the former Nixon Western White House. A bit north of the San Onofre power plant is a haven for long boarders, called "Old Man's Beach" as a tongue-in cheek reference to long board riders. These two breaks alone are considered some of the most challenging in the world, drawing surfers from around the globe to test their skills and train for international competition.
