Good Evening Friends. I just wanted to share with you my newest favorite food spot in the Farmington Valley. Located in quaint Collinsville is "Husk", a restaurant that is sort of Columbian-fusion (not mexican as many people think). Owner Jordan Stein has created a wonderful menu of items. I love the black bean and goat cheese empanadas as well as the Panchos Salad which is chillied cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cruches tortilla chips, cheese and served with a zesty Chipotle lime dressing. Thats a giant Meatball! By George! I took my daughter recently out for dinner and we visited her favorite place, George's in Unionville Ct. It is located at the intersection of rt 177 and rt4. The menu has a splendid variety of italian, greek and traditional favorites. My daughters loves the shells and meatball for dinner. I ordered a lamb gyro that night, which was served in a warm pita and accompanied by a thick cup of tzatziki sauce, which is one of my favoirtes.
I would reccommend George's Pizza for a visit. They also have the Olive Bar, which is attached to the restaurant that welcomes large crowds on the weekends. Check it out!
Just a quick post to let everyone know about one of my favorite restaurants. It is Joey Garlic's in Farmington Ct. They also have other locations in Ct such as Rocky Hill and Canton, but this one is the best since it's in my town.
Pictured here is the cheeseburger, a mouth watering slab of hand ground beef that is to die for! It is so delicate that it melt in your mouth. Another favorite of mine is the Goat Cheese Salad. It is a mountain of salad greens with a round of toasted goat cheese sprinkled with chopped pistachios and honey. IT is a delicious flavor combination and so good!
My friends have ordered (and loved) all of their pizzas, the Philly Cheese Steak and their infamous Eggplant Fries, which is served with a "snowing" of parmesan cheese and mariniara sauce for dipping. Check out their site and pay a visit today.

Check out the video I made at night during the Xmas holiday of Northport's dairy Farm. Once a working farm, the town took it over a few years ago and now its a great place to take the family to visit all the animals. I have such good memories here and I am such an animal lover. HOpe you will love it.

This image is of a small oil spill in my neighborhood that my daughter and I found one day while out for a walk. We live in the Lake Garda area in Farmington Ct, where homes are perched on hills overlooking a wonderful lake. There are often cars parked on the street on one of the roads that we walk on, one of them has left this oill spill What beautiful colors and pattern it makes. It resembles a sunburst or a glowing ball of fire perhaps. How can something so nasty (oil) leave such a pretty and impressionable image on the ground?
This year is all about Perspective Changes. I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions, as they often getter watered down or thrown out by tax season. Rather, I believe in changes in perspective. A phrase written b Author Chip St Claire, states "things don't change, but your perspective does".
This year has been tough on many folks out there. Tough on homeowner in the housing crisis, on Realtors who are still surviving in this market, tough on folks who lost their jobs and had to make huge adjustments. I challenge everyone during these tough times to change their perspective on their current situation. It may not make things better right away or sold the problem, but it just might make living day to day a bit easier.
As a Realtor, I have to change the way I am approaching my business. How can I get more listings that may be going to other Agencies? How can I get more Buyers who aren't working with me yet? I don't have the answers yet, but I plan on focusing on my business to make some perspective changes in the New Year. Good luck and have a safe and happy 2011!
