Feng Shui Your Mind to Sell Your Home

Here is an interesting strategy to sell a home that I recently came across and thought I would share it with the readers of my blog. Many Feng Shui believers are now using the same technique with their mind to sell their home.

Many believe that there is a definite fear in today's market that they have to overcome with their mind. Therefore, with the right mindset, many more prospective buyers will be attracted to your home.

Feng Shui-ing the mind means sustaining a positive, high energy mindset. Those who practice in Feng Shui believe this is vital to attracting the desired outcome. The mindset is what impacts our beliefs, Lake Havasu City Real Estate - Lake Havasu, Arizonafeelings and thoughts.

Here are some tips that I found to Feng Shui your mind to help sell your home:

* Focus and clear the mind. Picture the perfect sale and see yourself placing the sold sign on it. Also, decide the ideal number of days you want the home to be on the market. Be clear in your mind about what you want and focus on that. Channel your energy by attracting what you want.

* Form harmony between your desires and your energy by having the desire to have what you want. If you believe you already have what you want, your energy vibrations become more matched to your desire, bringing a stronger attraction.

* Rid your mind of mental clutter. Your mind needs free-flowing energy without encountering harmful obstructions. By clearing the mind of mental clutter, the law of attraction will work for you. Therefore, clear away all self-limiting beliefs by doing some soul searching.

* Follow the Feng Shui formula by properly practicing the Law of Attraction to the results you want to sell your home for the amount you want and in the time frame you are looking for.

For those who find this challenging to do on their own, be confident that there is always a good real estate professional to guide you through the entire process to make your life a little easier.

Lake Havasu Approves New Principal

The Lake Havasu Unified School District officially approved a new principal Tuesday night. The Governing Board was in a rush to find a new principal due to the sudden death of Susan Lust from Oro Grande Elementary.

Lake Havasu Approves New Principal - Lake Havasu City Real Estate As I read the article about the death of Susan Lust, I learned that Brad Gardner, who was the assistant principal of Thunderbolt Middle School, will now be the principal of Oro Grande Elementary School. I also learned that he was completely surprised to get the call offering him the position. Mr. Gardner has been in the education business for more than 25 years and in the Lake Havasu City area for 10 years, with four years in the Lake Havasu Unified School District.

After doing some research, I have found that Oro Grande Elementary is a wonderful school that is already excelling. The school has always had a strong bond between teachers, students, parents and the community, which has helped propel the school to the level that it is. The school motivates its teachers to teach their students for the future, not just the current grade they are in. The teachers also help each student with their individual strengths and weaknesses to help establish a smooth transition to each grade level.

Oro Grande Elementary School is located at 1250 Pawnee Drive, Lake Havasu City, Arizona and first opened in 1982. It currently serves around 450 students in grades K-5 and is rated an "Excelling" school. The school mascot is the roadrunner.

Hopefully, Mr. Gardner will do a great job within Lake Havasu City's Oro Grande Elementary. He has a lot of good ideas in mind so far.

Help Keeping Lake Havasu City Lake Clean

Realtor® Cheryl Westwood ~ Lake Havasu City Real Estate

Trash has always been a problem on any lake around the world, but keeping Lake Havasu Lake clean is what residents around the community of Lake Havasu City are concerned about. Therefore, the London Bridge Yacht Club and the Lake Havasu City Marine Association banded together Tuesday in a huge volunteer effort to clean up a popular beach on the lake known as "That Beach", which was found extremely littered Help Keeping Lake Havasu City Lake Cleanwith trash over the weekend.

Many believe it was the work of local resident teenagers looking to have a little extra fun. The trash cans were just stocked with plenty of trash bags, as they always are at the end of the week, so there will be plenty for the weekenders to have on hand.

On Tuesday, the volunteers bagged the mess. Then, the Marine Association transported it to the Windsor boat launch ramp so it could be transported to dumpsters.

Most local residents complain that the litter washing up on the beach is from Californians, but this time no one can deny that this was a locals only littering problem.

Now, because of last weekend's incident, there are eight new trash-bag posts on the shores of the beach and parking area. This brings the number of trash bag post stations to 61.

Many of the trash bag post stations are sponsored by companies. So, if you own a business and would like to sponsor a trash bag post station to help keep the lake clean, you can call the Marine Association (Jim Salscheider - 928-208-2442) or the London Bridge Yacht Club (928-854-5292) to speak with someone about it anytime. The initial sponsorship is $295 with a maintenance fee of $100 every year thereafter for trash bags.

It would be great if we could get more locals to not only volunteer with the cleanup effort, but to stop the littering in the first place. Then we wouldn't need so many to volunteer for a clean up in the future. However, in the meantime, it would be great to have more sponsors for trash bag post stations. The more the lake has, the less likely anyone will be to litter.
