In October 2011 20 condos/townhomes sold in the Uptown Charlotte area, an 53.9% increase from the 13 condos/townhomes sold in September 2011. October 2011 sales figures increased 185.7% from October 2010 when 7 Uptown Charlotte condos sold.

The average sales price decreased 3.6% from $252,192 in September 2011 to $243,000 in October 2011. October 2011 average sales price increased 10.9% from the October 2010 average sales price which was $219,143.

Average days on the market decreased 34.5% from 203 in September to 133 in October. October 2010 average days on the market were 86.

Currently there are 135 Uptown condos/townhomes listed for sale in the Uptown Charlotte MLS area. The average unit is a 1 bed/2 bath condo with 1,393 square feeet and an average list price of $387,065, up 2.4% from September‘s average list price of $378,149. The average days on the market are 160. Currently 24, or 17.7%, Uptown Charlotte condos/townhomes are under contract. A decrease of 2.6% from September.

In October 2011 143 condos sold in the Charlotte area, an 3.6% increase from the 138 condos sold in September 2011. October 2011 sales figures increased 12.6% from October 2010 when 127 Charlotte condos sold.

The average sales price increased 30.1% from $145,183 in September 2011 to $188,891 in October 2011. The October 2011 average sales price increased 33% from the October 2010 average sales price which was $142,004.

Average days on the market decreased 8% from 175 in September to 161 in October. October 2010 average days on the market were 135.

Currently there are 1,361 Charlotte condo/townhomes listed for sale in the Charlotte MLS. The average unit is a 2 bed/2 bath unit with 1,514 square feet and an average list price of $214,242, up 2.9% from September‘s average list price of $208,103. The average days on the market are 172. Currently 214, or about 15.7%, Charlotte condos are under contract, down from 217 under contract in September.
