Sure I passed the Florida real estate salesperson state exam on my first try and it was extremely difficult. Knowing what realtors ® have to go through and what they do while in the trenches has raised my respect for my colleagues. Unfortunately in my experience I read some comments disparaging our profession and/or us as professionals.
It's not easy. Instead it is far from it.
Some of the things we go through yet some people do not realize:
1. We risk litigation every day or most likely being threatened to be sued nearly every day. Imagine how that is.
2. We are the face of the real estate market thus of the housing market. Guess who is the scapegoat?
3. We are bombarded with some inquiries that are not serious ones yet in a way we are required to take every inquiry seriously. Imagine if this was to happen to other professions. Unfortunately our profession simply does not get much respect for doing respectful and respectable work.
This is not to say that I am grumbling about my profession. I'm not.
I LOVE what I do. There is no feeling in the world that compares to helping someone with possibly one of the most valuable assets that they have and/or will ever have.
Like many other professionals I take pride in what I do. Unfortunately some people do not see what happens behind the scenes.
In later posts I will write about some personal experiences without divulging personal information about the people involved but what some people see on television about realtors ® is not necessarily the realities of our day-to-day professional life.
More later.

I love taking random pictures of places in Tampa Bay because I really love living here. Here are a couple of pictures. This time of parts of Tarpon Springs:
Part of the Pinellas Trail which runs through parts of Pinellas County which includes Tarpon Springs:
New restaurant opening soon in downtown Tarpon Springs:
I took this picture while my husband was driving because some people have asked me how the roads look. Well... this picture gives you an idea how the roads look:
It reminds me of where I grew up in Hawai'i called Kaimukī with fabulous local restaurants with an abundance of family-oriented people. That is partly why I love Tarpon Springs so much. A wonderful place with some wonderful people and yes... it's near the water LOL
Tarpon Springs has not one beach but TWO beaches. I will post pics of them in a later post.

This is a recent picture that I took of a gas station in New Port Richey that I took while my husband was driving. It is one of the more reasonable gas stations located along Seven Springs Boulevard which is the main road that runs near Seven Springs Homes. I usually check GasBuddy.com to compare prices before I venture out.
This picture gives you an idea of the gas prices in New Port Richey, Florida lately but you can also see how the vegetation looks. I will post more pictures later.
Aloha for now,

I was born and raised in Hawai'i and I love the ocean so of course I love going to Clearwater Beach often. I also love using my camera to capture glimpses of life.
I use a simple point-and-shoot camera: A 8.1 mp green Casio Exilim.
This time I purposefully posted larger pictures so that I can try to show the vibrant colors. The Tampa Bay Florida area is equally vibrant with life.
Here are some recent pictures of Clearwater Beach:
1. The entrance into the Clearwater Beach area looks like this:
2. The road to what is called "north" Clearwater Beach. Yes it is very long LOL:
3. A picture of the playground and pavilion area at Pier 60:
4. A photo of part of Clearwater Beach:
5. A picture of the new Beach Walk along Clearwater Beach:
6. A picture of part of Clearwater Beach:
7. Where I can be found often... a casual picture of the Coldwell Banker at Clearwater Beach along Mandalay:
8. Another picture of Clearwater Beach:
9. Yes... I took a picture of the sand :)
In the mean time I hope that everyone is enjoying their week so far.
Aloha,

There were 2,418 homes that closed on March while 4,064 were placed under contract. This is GREAT news.
