Franklin homes are still selling at a brisk pace with 100 closings in the short month of February, The average price was $372,609 and the days on market down to 90. Another telling sign that the Franklin real estate market is doing well is the number of pending sales 153, telling me that closings for March should still continue higher.

Thompsons Station Homes sale for January 2012 show 17 homes sales for the month compared to just 7 last year. The average price of Thompsons Station homes also increase from $192.132 to $210,026, a 9% percent increase in 12 months.
A lot of good things are happening in Thompsons Station with the I-65 project nearing completion as well as I-840 scheduled to finish this year, it will make commuting less of a problem. Tollgate Village is rapidly becoming an affordable alternative to Franklin for those who want a new home, and builders are starting to buy up all of the available lots that had been sitting for years waiting for the housing recovery. Even with those increases, Forest Hills homes are not the most active in the area, with Green Hill on one side and Brentwood on the other, Forest Hills gets overlooked by most people. One of the reason is the small number of available Forest Hills homes. Right now, only 33 Forest Hills homes are available for purchase, 4 homes are pending, and 4 others are under contengency contract.
