From Oak Stone Shores, Clearwater, the ever popular Waterside Crossing, to Riverstone, people always ask about value on Lake Keowee. They want to know where to find it. The key price point for lots, per buying patterns of buyers in today's market seems to be between $350k-$450k. Right now I have many lots, some priced at debt pricing (meaning they are priced at what the seller owes on the lot).

Lake Keowee is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. In 1971, Duke Power developed the 18,500-acre lake with 300 miles of tree-lined shoreline. It is comprised of two rivers and two dams. Warpath Dam impounds the Keowee River and the other dam impounds the Little River. Keowee is owned and operated by Duke Power Company. In addition to having a power generating plant located on the lake, the company provides many public access areas to the lake. These public access areas include picnic areas and boat ramps.
Constructed by Duke Power Company to generate hydroelectric power, Lake Keowee covers Keowee Town, site of the capital of the Lower Cherokee Nation. Keowee, meaning "Place of the Mulberries," was visited by Spanish explorer Hernando DeSoto when he came through the area in 1540. 18,500 acres of water and a 300-mile shoreline make the Lake Keowee area a popular place for boating, fishing, water-skiing, swimming, camping and picnicking. It is located predominately in Oconee County, but it also extends into Pickens County. (Information provided by the Discover Upcountry Carolina Association.)
The pristine waters of Lake Keowee are great for sailing, fishing and boating. With only 25% of the lake developed, and the splendor of the mountainous backdrop, homeowners and boaters enjoy spectacular views and sunsets that produce a serenity found no where else.
It is the perfect lake for recreation and a great place to live. On Lake Keowee you will find plenty of lake front property for sale - existing homes and lots on which to build your dream home.
Most of the subdivisions around the lake are restricted and offer a variety of amenities such as pools, tennis courts and boat slips.
