Spanish Palms is close to many amenities - Spring Valley Hospital, Shopping (Arroyo Crossing is the largest), Restaurants and Professional Offices. The 215 freeway is nearby and accessible from either Jones or Rainbow, which provides excellent proximity to UNLV, McCarran Airport, South Strip Employment & Entertainment centers.
Las Vegas Area REO Inventory has risen since last report (+99 units), Under Contracts have fallen (-589) units Closing data is UNCHANGED. Low interest rates have spurred a flurry of buyer interest & activity this December and it continues.
REO sales accounted for 66% of all Las Vegas Area Valley resale closings in October 2009. REO listings account for only 22% of total resale listings.
Multiple offers are streaming in as banks continue to lower to fire and auction sale prices.

We offer two ways to search available homes. One is our site provided from Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. It requires no registration and it is a little bit limited on search capabilities but it does now allow you to search for sold properties all the way down to the subdivision! New listings are not automatically sent to your email. Another is through Home Buyer's Scouting Report. HBSR does require registration (we won't bother you other than a weekly email with market conditions) and it allows you to search via maps and allows you to see addresses, directions, maps, neighboring schools. It also allows you to change your seach and be in control of your own home search! New listings are sent to your email as soon as they hit the market!

Renee remembers driving past the Rhodes Ranch area in the late 90's as it was being developed and wondered "who would
want to live out there?" Well back in 2000, only 913 people resided in zip code 89148. In 2006, the population in 89148 expanded to a whopping 36,536 residents! Obviously someone wanted to move out there and that includes Renee's family!

Clark County, Nevada Website: Many people do not understand that Las Vegas, NV is only a small city within the valley of homes that they see from the airplane. Much of Clark County within the valley is unincorporated. Henderson & North Las Vegas are cities located within our valley.
Las Vegas Municipal Police Department provides an online service called "crimeview community" ~ it is a great resource to check crime stats prior to picking out the new community you want to live in!
The Valley experiences many growing pains and one of them is traffic. The 215 "Bruce Woodbury" Beltway is being built as a ring around the valley to help alleviate traffic.
