Fresno CA Real Estate Market Update

STRAIGHT SCOOP ON LOCAL POOP sm

I noticed a home today owned by real estate broker (with an out of town address) has just had another price reduction.

a few other details I observed:

  • The home has been on the market for 748 days
  • The owner/broker is currently the listing agent and has been trying to sell it himself for over a year.
  • The owner/broker had the property listed with another broker previously and after that listing expired the broker/owner RAISED the price $455,000
  • The current price is now $605,000 less than the price it was at with the previous broker that had the listing.

The good news for you -- the consumer -- is: the home is now $960,000 less than the original ask price.

Pretty much sums up the current market trends.

I Am Going To Boycott McDonalds

I get so disgusted when I see people get beat up or killed in public places and nobody is willing to put themselves at risk for their neighbor.

WHY!

BECAUSE THE VICTIMS TURN AROUND AND SUE THE GOOD SAMARITANS OR SOMEHOW MANAGE TO PUNISH A GOOD DEED.

A Florida Court's 'Rocket Docket' Blasts Through Foreclosure Cases

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Hoping to save her house, Saundra Hill Scott arrived at the county courthouse clutching dog-eared mortgage bills and letters from her lender. She need not have bothered. The foreclosure hearing lasted less than 20 seconds, with Judge John Carlin asking her two questions: Are you current on your mortgage and are you living in the home? She answered no and yes and then offered to show him her paperwork.

"I don't need to see that. That's between you and the bank," he said as he gave Ms. Hill Scott, her husband and three grandchildren 60 days to work out a deal with their lender or vacate their three-bedroom house.

Homeowners still have a HUGE advantage over renters when it comes to hard times. What do I mean? I mean that renters get a 3 day notice to perform once the grace period expires on their rent. After that they get an unlawful detainer and are generally out on the streets in 30 to 45 days whereas a homeowner gets 90 days to catch up and in this market some people are remaining in their home many months before the bank takes action.
