Areas of Expertise

My area of expertise is in FHA and VA financing. With my previous experience as a DE Underwriter and a loan processor I understand how to put a file together. I also work with first time homebuyers, divorcing couples and move up buyers and those looking to refinance their exisiting mortgage.

I also work with buyers who are looking to purchase investment properties. Did you know that today investors are only allowing you to have so many properties financed? It's true. So it's important when you are looking to purchase investment properties and looking to finance them, you make sure you get the one's you really want first. Otherwise, you may not qualify for the typical mortgage financing.

Another area is working with borrower's who need to refinance their loans. In this market it can be tough because of the equity position. But when there is equity, I would be happy to analyze your situation to determine if it is best to refinance or not. You have to consider that there is substantial costs you incur to refinance. These costs may not out weigh the lower interest rate. This is something we can discuss and determine if it would make financial sense to do it.

I also help sellers. Yes that's right, sellers. Did you know they are the most forgotten group of mortgage clients? What happens if the seller sells their home and then goes to look to buy a house and for some reason, no longer qualifies for financing. They have now sold their home and have to rent. I have seen it many times where their credit may be messed up and needs to be fixed or they have to wait. That's why it's important to call me. I will make sure you are in a good position to purchase another home, before you sell yours.
