About Me:

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. Was born in Bradenton, Florida in 1951 and grew up there. Have been a lifelong resident of Florida which means I am a true native that has lived in Bradenton / Sarasota area for over 58 years. Have seen farms, groves, and vast acreage being developed into residential and commercial properties.

Presently working as a Realtor with my husband, Jim, for Light Realty & Associates, Inc. which serves the Gulf Coast of Florida: Sarasota County, & Manatee County, Real Estate Home Buying and Selling Needs. My husband started working for a custom home builder in Sarasota selling upscale custom homes. Retired after 26 years with Verizon and joined him as his helper and assistant in this field of work.

Earned my GRI (Graduate of Real Estate Institute) designation in August 2008 at the Sarasota Association of Realtors.

Areas of Expertise

My experience in Residential Real Estate includes New Home Construction, Resales, and Lots and Acreage which includes: Luxury Home Communities, Golf Course Communities, Waterfront Communities, and Condominiums and Villa Communities. My father was in the construction business so I basically grew up in the construction business and then ventured into real estate in the late 70's.

My husband came down to Sarasota, Florida in 1968 which makes him Florida resident for over 40 years. Along with my husband Jim, the broker of Light Realty & Associates, Inc. we can help you with every aspect of buying or selling your home because of years of experience. We know the neighborhoods and are well informed about many of them. Jim is an avid golfer and has played most of the golf courses in Sarasota and Manatee County.
