As a agent I travel alot of places out-of-state and in state and I truly believe we have LOCALLY some of the most Award-winning schools. Inside the city of Kingsport you can clearly see that the FOCUS remains on NURTURING OUR FAMILIES. Kingsport seems to have a strong goal-oriented team that strives on establishing the younger minds and helping the older mind advance and grow. It a wonderful site to see.
All Kingsport City Schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Kingsport offers outstanding opportunities for both primary and secondary education. A couple of weeks ago I was reading an article written by someone whom I think keeps the most updated on recent news about the Tri-cities especially Kingsport and that is Mr. Fleming. He mention something stating some data that I thought you may like to know if you are considering this area for your new home.
Kingsport is ranked 14th in the country for the second quarter running for appreciation in home values and for the past 12 months, housing prices are up 3.93 percent, with a five-year appreciation of 32.41 percent.
2008 3rd quarter endings report: September 30, housing prices in Kingsport were up .69 percent, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
