If you are a first time home buyer, or know someone who is now looking,
because mortgage approvals, residential inspections, and other steps in
the purchasing process typically take about two months, buyers hoping to
take advantage of of the $8,000 tax credit, will need to be in contracty
by the end of September.
There are some who are speculating that the bank and/or government
are holding onto properties and gradually putting them on the market
so as not to flood the market and cause a huge drop in home values.
After all, California currently has the highest number of NODs
(Notice of Default) in the nation, so where are they?
Others are of the mind that 'they'are in no way, shape, or form
that organized, and that the banks are just holding out in the hopes
that they will receive more bail out money. Either way, who taught
who how to run a business? Bizarre....

Well, you'll have to look at it for another year, as it is not slated to be finished this
time until the fall of 2010. So we'll all continue to drive to Los Gatos to spoil ourselves.
For the month of July, there were 227 homes for sale, and almost 25% of homes sold in Willow Glen.
The average sales price was $715,000, and average days on market was 63.
