The Bay Colony Pointe section of Bay Colony is the largest consisting of 6 sections with a total of 864 homes. Construction in Bay Colony Pointe began in 2000 and continued through 2009. Builders in Bay Colony Pointe included Lennar Homes, Espree Homes, Dakota Blue Homes and Richmond American Homes. Homes in Bay Colony Pointe range in size from around 1200 square foot to over 2800 square feet. The subdivision is made up of many streets many of them cul-de-sac. The Lakes in Bay Colony is one of the only sections in Bay Colony featuring homes with detached garages some of which are oversized. The homes in the Lakes are larger starting at around 1800 square feet to over 4000 square feet.
