SUV - The Hummer H3

I recently had to get rid of my 1997 Honda Accord Station Wagon and I am shopping ofr a car to replace it. I liked it because it was a car that still gave me the capability to haul things. I have been window shopping since February 2008 and today I think I found my match. The Hummer H3. It is room, gas mileage is ok, but it actually is the same as my BMW, and it is not too big and not too small. It reminds me of a Tonka Truck. (Not to mention the great incentives on 08's)

If you or someone you know drives a Hummer, please share with me your thoughts about it.

Thanks

The Boneyard: The Best Kept Secret in Culver City

I was talking to my dogs trainer when she mentioned that I should consider taking Carmen (our puppy) to the Boneyard so she could have more interaction with other dogs. I shared with her that I try to stay away from dog parks as I have heard they carry diseases and not all the dogs are nice, but she advised me to give this park a try.

Well, Carmen & I visited the Boneyard and it was the nicest and cleanest dog park I have seen. It is over 1 acre and is located in the middle of a large park. Divided into two areas, (1) for large dogs and (1) for smaller dogs, it features benches, trees, water fountains, a hilly area, pooper scoopers, an information board and a shaded area. The ground is covered with decomposed granite and it is truly user friendly.

It has been open since early 2006 and is operated by the Friends of Culver City Dog Park, a non-profit organization.

THE BONEYARD is located at Leash Lane @ Duquesne south of Jefferson Boulevard above the skate park.

If you are relocating and looking for a pet friendly community, or merely just looking for somewhere new to take your pet, consider the Boneyard.

This is truly the Best Kept Secret in Culver City............We hope to see you there!
