As a buyer, succesfully navigating a short sale is a big challenge. With more and more short sales coming on the market, there have been some interesting trends and changes that we have seen in the last couple of months. While some transactions are getting easier, it is still a wild ride for many buyers who go down this path.
Have you been trying to tour short sales with Redfin? If so, you'll find out that they have a policy that they will not allow their agents to tour short sale homes with their clients. We find this overly restrictive and our brokerage is happy to include short sale homes during your home tours. Currently we are only offering this service in the Puget Sound region. You can read more about this on the findwell blog here.
To schedule a home tour in the Puget Sound area, please contact us at 206-462-6200 of info@findwell.com
Say hello to Fiona - the new findwell mascot. She is available to tour you through any house at any time as part of findwell's Open House Anytime program. Just tell us what homes you want to see and we'll make the necessary arrangements to get you in to view properties. Most of the time, we can do it that same day. And unlike other brokerages we won't limit the number of tours or try to charge you. It's just part of our full service.
Full Service. Mini Commissions.
p.s. Honk if you see us on the streets!
If you are a fan of old buildings in Seattle, are intrigued by Seattle history, or are just curious about what it used to be like in Seattle, be sure to check out the Vintage Seattle blog. I stumbled upon it by chance tonight, and it is loaded with interesting tidbits of history and some really great photos and images. Check it out!
Moving to Seattle? If so, you may want to pick up a copy of The Newcomer's Handbook for Moving To and Living in Seattle. This is a great book if you are moving here and are looking for the lowdown on all of Seattle's various neighborhoods. You might actually know more than the locals about some neighborhoods when you are done reading this one!
