Brooks Brothers Opens in La Jolla on November 20th

A Brooks Brothers store in La Jolla? I always thought you would have to go to New York or Rodeo Drive to shop in a Brooks Brothers! When Saks Fifth Avenue closed a couple of years ago on Wall Street in the village of La Jolla, La Jolla residents were dismayed that after many years in the Village, we would lose our onlyBrooks Brothers Logo for La Jolla high end large clothing store. Tomorrow, November 20th, that is all about to change, when Brooks Brothers has its Grand Opening. The 14,000 square foot store is taking over the Saks Fifth Avenue building and is expected to sell both men's and women's Brooks Brothers' collections.

The Grand Opening is open to the public from 6 pm to 8 pm and anyone attending will be able to save 15% on their purchases. In addition, in the spirit of the season... 10% of the evening's sales will be donated to the Scripps Cancer Center, Stevens Division. If you plan on attending, call to RSVP at (800) 274-1815. Brooks Brothers is located at 1055 Wall Street, La Jolla, (858) 456-2104 and is open Monday to Saturday 10-7, and Sunday 12-7.

935 Genter "In the Village" - A La Jolla Condominium Development

At the end of Girard, where it curves into becoming Genter, there is a charming building of high-end 935 Genter in the Village of La Jollacondominium residences known as "In the Village" or "935 Genter". This condominium complex offers 34 units with spacious floor plans, many on the higher floors have ocean views and of course, the convenience of living in the village of La Jolla. There are one and two bedroom units from 694 to 1,130 square feet of living space. The units were totally renovated in 2004 and the upgrades include travertine floors, crown moldings, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and more. This is considered a secure building and there is assigned parking in the garage.
