Foliage in New Hampshire

As a Realtor, sometimes we get absorbed in our environment. We can take for granted the beauty that surrounds us on any given day. I suppose we all do this. This year however, has been one of the best foliage years that I can remember. The colors are vibrant and have turned ever so gradually, that they have lasted for nearly a month. It may take a client making mention of the beauty to help you recognize what is right in front of you. But if you haven't noticed, take a moment, look around and enjoy one of nature's gifts to us.

Working makes me Dog Tired

This is my dog, Ginger. I am one of the lucky ones who get to bring their dog to work. As you can see she works so hard that by end of the day she can't make it to the car! Only kidding, she loves being at the office and I am so thankful that all the agents in the office like having her there as well. I adopted her from the local shelter in May 2008, she is 8 years old. She does not like being alone, preferring to be with someone, anyone, at all times. I think that she creates a nice presence in the office, calming & quiet, although she does snore. Now if I could only get her to help with the paperwork!

Stop by and see her the next time you are in the area.

Bike race on Mount Washington

I had a friend stay with me this weekend. He is an avid bicyclist and came to New Hampshire from California to race up Mt. Washington. It seems that this is quite the event limited to only 600 bikers. The day of the event turned out to be quite nice, no rain. This event was once covered by Sports Illustrated, hence its popularity. I was told that if you did not register within the first 15 minutes you were shut out. Now, not being a biker, I am not sure I understand why you would pay to enter to ride your bike straight uphill! The view at the top of the mountain is breathtaking, however, I will go up in my car. Thanks to all who participated and helped with this great annual event.
