Prudential Real Estate Professionals 1220 20th St Se Salem Or 97302
Hello ! Welcome to my Active Rain profile! (FYI - My dog's name is Shaman - visit his home page at www.SalemDogs.net )
A 3 Part Introduction
First: My Personal Philosophy
My personal philosophy in providing service is that it's all about what works for you, including your needs, expectations, goals and personal temperament. Moving is a major transition in life and the buying/selling of a home is only a part of it. I believe in the law of attraction and using positive thoughts and intent in providing a level of service that either meets or exceeds expectations. I am grateful for the testimonials and feedback that I have received
Second: A non-solicited testimonial from a satisifed client. I was humbled when I received this !
from Grant and Christine C., from West Linn, moving to the Salem area
To Whom It May Concern:
My wife and I recently went through the process of purchasing a rural property. In our quest, we were fortunate enough to have no restrictions on where we could live, and were able to actively investigate areas from extreme southern Oregon to southern Washington. A large task, to be sure! Along the way, we worked with nearly a dozen buyer's agents. Of all the agents we met, only one stood out: David Brown. It wasn't because he was gaudy or obnoxiously extroverted; it was because he was quiet, thoughtful, and really knows real estate and the buying process. He was the only agent who was fully prepared from the first time we shook hands. He came with folders holding more information on the properties we viewed than anyone else had even thought about supplying. In fact, it was astonishing how well he'd done his homework - right down to visiting the neighbors ahead of our showing! We ended up selling our existing property and purchasing the new one simultaneously. We had a listing agent and a buying agent on each property, which meant a total of four involved agents. Of the four, David was (not surprisingly) the standout. He had his finger on every detail; everything was done on time, exactly as required, and completely professionally. My wife commented that she wished we'd been able to have David sell our old house, as he was simply so much better at his job than the other three - none of them were even close. We can tell you from experience: if you need to buy a new home, David Brown is the only person worth calling. He's just that good. December 2007

The Law of Attraction and Life (yes, including Real Estate)
by David Brown
There has been a huge buzz going around the country about the best selling book and movie - The Secret. (http://www.thesecret.tv/)
My daughter gave me The Secret DVD for Christmas and I watched it the night of Dec 26th after dropping her off at the PDX airport. I was fascinated at the way the principles of the law of attraction were presented and referenced throughout history and in different cultures and traditions.
Since then I have watched the movie about six times, bought the book (Costco), and listened to the Audio which provides more in depth information. I have seen how the law of attraction works, in my life and in real estate. A recent transaction occurred when (after four months of searching for a home), I finally told my client "let's open up the energy and allow the Universe to help you find the house that you love". The very next showing the property fit like a glove for their needs and they bought it! (read the full story on my blog ).
My goal is to use as many strategies as I can think of to help my clients buy or sell real estate. Since I have seen how the law of attraction works, I have added this as a powerful tool to help my clients get what they want.
It's working! And I am very grateful for that!
Another testimonial:
" David,
Thank you for your outstanding service as our realtor in our search for a house we could rehab. You listened to our criteria and found exactly what we were looking for without wasting our valuable time. Going above and beyond the call of duty, you even researched city ordinances, coordinated bank paperwork, and met with us on our time schedules (some times before the sun was up). We appreciate your professionalism and attention to detail, and we look forward to working with you again in the future."
