Cowlitz County Household Hazardous Collection Program
Just like to remind the local public of Cowlitz County about the free household hazardous collection program for residential costumers the Waste Control Recycling Center offers to Cowlitz and Wahkiakum residents. The waste hazardous facility opens to interested costumers for two hours on Tuesday and Saturdays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. They also offer once a year household hazardous waste collection events for each of the following Cowlitz County cities: Castle Rock, Kalama, Ryderwood, Woodland and Cathlamet. Cowlitz County Comprehensive Plan Update
Cowlitz County officials are looking to review and update the Cowlitz County future comprehensive plan; they are asking the entire local communities to participate to help better understand how and where residents believe the county can improve and grow. Officials are asking the public to participate in a vision survey to see what they think about Cowlitz County, what are the best and worst thing about living here, how they want the county to grow over the next 20 years and more.
The plan started this summer with activities on community fairs, farmers' market, major local employers, chamber meetings, neighborhoods events and summer activities will end with three county wide vision statement and goal presentation in October. Check the Cowlitz County Comprehensive Plan Update website for dates, upcoming information and more ways to participate over the up coming year.
Cowlitz County Fair
The 2010 Cowlitz County Fair is up on us once again. This year the theme is music, magic and motion. All four days will be pack of fun things to do for the whole family; games, rides, food, music, rodeo and the popular demolition derby. Come and join the fun Thursday, August 5 through Sunday, August 8.
Once again admission will be free for all.

Cowlitz County Foreclosures
Foreclosure is certainly one the most popular word in the real estate industry now days, not only here in Cowlitz County but everywhere inthe country, you see it almost daily in T.V.
