About Us:

My mom (Anne Coscia) and I work together as a team. We've been Loan Originators for the last 8 years and we love our job and the company we represent. We both live in the Essex area and provide service from Eastern Shore to Deep Creek and other states as well.

Anne has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and I've grown up with all that knowledge around me everyday which has been a great asset to my career and the many satisfied customers and Realtors that work with us on a daily basis. We believe that knowledge is power and try to educate our buyers with the knowhow to make good decisions during their transaction. Everyone benefits by using our services!

We specialize in working with first time home buyers, which usually turn into second time buyers a few years later. We find it very rewarding to assist buyers with the purchase of their home. Our committment to personal service helps us stand out above the rest. We pride ourselves in structuring their loans to minimize out of pocket costs on the loan and by keeping up to date on grants and special programs available.

1st Preference Mortgage is also the FHA/Fannie Mae Homestyle 203K Renovation and Rehab loan experts. We can close these, and most other FHA/VA/Conventional loans in 30 days. We are blessed to have FHA/VA direct endorsed Underwriters, in house processors, and the ability to provide a quick turnaround time if necessary. Most of the employees and loan originators have been with the company for years which is an asset to those we serve.

Sometimes bad things happen to good people and they just need a little extra help. We've worked with customers for over a year that eventually were able to purchase a new home.
