Baton Rouge Children & Kids Second Hand Consignment Stores

Going to a second hand store is like going to Disney World to me. Baton Rouge has some really great children, second hand boutiques. Many of these stores contain upscale children's clothing like: Gymboree, Gap, Children's Place, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, My Vintage Baby, Lipstik and more. While some of these second hand stores require you to 'dig' through to get to the good stuff, most of them only offer the good stuff.

The Refinery- This is my favorite Baton Rouge consignment store. I found this wonderful place right after I had my son. They offer nothing but the best. Most of their clothes look as if they haven't even been worn. The owner is also extremely nice and very helpful. The Refinery is located off of Sherwood by the Aveda Institute, right next door to Baskin Robins. You can also find toys, strollers, bows, dvds, movies, shoes, books, bjourns, carriers and more at The Refinery.

Abigail's Best- This is another one of my favorites. It's located off of Coursey, right next to Planet Beach. Abigail's is the sister store to Kate & Co. Kate & Co isn't a consignment store but it an upscale boutique. Abigail's has a bigger selection of boy clothing when compared to The Refinery. The cool think about Abigail's is that sometimes they bring some of the clothes from Kate & Co and you can get them at a really good price. They also offer toys, dvds, books, bouncers and more.

Second Impressions- This store is totally packed with all kinds of clothes. This is a consignment store where you might have to dig but you can always find that diamond. The owner is also very helpful and they have the cutest pillow case dresses and bows. I want to say that this store is located in Denham Springs off of Florida. It's been a bit since I've been there.

Freckled Frog- I've never been to this store but I heard it was worth going to. It's actually not located in Baton Rouge but I thought I would add it in. It's located in Prarieville, La. They offer gently worn clothing from newborn to eight years, boys and girls. They also monogram!

Purple Cow- The Purple Cow isn't just a children's consignment store. It actually offers adult and teen clothing. They also offer a variety of items like: shoes, books, records, purses, decorations and more. I love this thrift store. You never know what you might find there. It's always fun to just go look and you can't beat the price. Also, the people are incredibly nice. The Purple Cow is located off of Jones Creek.
