Lifestream is collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items at its La Quinta donor center through December 20th. Food donations will go to Hanson House, a Palm Springs facility that provides 16 guest rooms at no to low cost for families of critically ill patients at Desert Regional Medical Center and other Coachella Valley hospitals. While you are dropping off your canned goods be sure to donate blood which is needed year-round!

Looking to help others less fortunate this holiday season? The Old Town La Quinta's Certified Farmers Market will be collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food for two Coachella Valley food suppliers.
The Well in the Desert and Coachella Valley Rescue Mission will be the recipients of the food supplies and will be providing them to individuals and families in need.

The City of La Quinta's Community Service Department is hosting a "Co-Ed Kickball League" beginning with
registration on November 23rd from 8 am to 4:30 pm at 78495 Calle Tampico.
Do you still have what it takes to kick the ball? This is a 4 male & 4 female players league and the first 8 teams to register will play. The games will begin January 17th - May 2nd on Sundays between 4 pm and 6 pm at the La Quinta Sports Complex.
