3 strikes and you're out

I just got word that yet another transaction I have scheduled to close, with Countrywide as the lender, has fallen through and will not be closing, at least not with Countrywide as the lender. The closing was scheduled for tomorrow!!! This is the third transaction I have had in the last 6 months that did not close because Countrywide could not approve the loan. I am not trying to bash Countrywide, I just don't understand how a mortgage lender who's name is not on the "hot" list as far as lenders go, will continue to pre-approve buyers only to let them down the day before they plan to move into their new home. Am I the only one who has had such bad luck with Countrywide??? And why do they have 3 levels of underwitting???? I just got the buyer's agent in touch with a lender that I use that has been known to close loans in a week, and they were able to get the buyers approved and we are closing next week. Thank you Scott Sharp from Franklin American Mortgage; you came through for me once again!!! I have to say in my 2 years as a real estate agent, I have yet to find a lender that can beat the service, rates, and fees of Franklin American Mortgage.

This is my first blog

I have had an account set up on Active Rain for a month, yet have never posted a blog before now. Why? I guess I have had such a struggle with technology during my real estate career that new things which involve technology scare me, or I tend to put on the back burner. It's time to break out of my box and start blogging on a daily basis. Thanks for reading and I look forward to sharing and learning with others. Have a wonderful day!!!
