Ella is also very involved in the community. She has served as a 4-H leader, Advancement Chairman for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scout Leader and PTA President. Currently, Ella is the treasurer for the SW Lubbock Kiwanis Club and a counselor for the youth program of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ella graduated from college in Arizona where she met her husband Terry. They have been married 29 years. Together they have two married children; Tera and Daylon, and 2 (beautiful) granddaughters!
