The West Wellington Community Association. The evening will feature presentations by Councillor Christine Leadman, the City of Ottawa and community organizations with expertise on the issue, followed by a question and answer period.
A focus of the town hall will be light rail transit (LRT) issues which relate particularly to those residing within WWCA boundaries, including the role of Tunney's Pasture transit station and the possible east-west LRT corridor options.

About 30% of my clients are DND/military clients who are relocating to Ottawa for the first time.
My biggest challenge that I find for my military buyer clients is narrowing down a neighbourhood to search!
Most CFB's are smaller with Victoria, Edmonton and Halifax being the exceptions. When my DND clients say that they want to be within a 30 minute drive to work that would ecompass a lot of areas and a ton of listings!
To help learn a little bit about Ottawa neighbourhoods I've decided to do a series of blog entries about individual Ottawa neighbourhoods. This can be used as an archive of sorts and will feature some street shots of the neighbourhood. I'm also hoping to publish it to my website eventually as well to benefit my other clients.
Hopefully this will be of some use and I'm looking forward to researching and writing about the many great communities that Ottawa has to offer.
Also please don't forget that for all your IRP Relocation needs I am always available for questions, support of service
Please don't forget, I am also available to show homes 7 days a week
If there is one thing I love in life, its food!
If you're looking to try a new restaurant in Ottawa this evening, why not check out www.restaurantthing.com
More specifically http://restaurantthing.com/ca/on/ottawa/
This website has been around for a long time and as such has a lot of user reviews of local area restaurants.
Like other opinion based sites, all reviews must be taken for what they are, but there are a few serious reviewers that I have grown to trust.
What's my favourite Ottawa Restaurant?
Allium

Having just moved to a new neighbourhood we had to abandon our old favourites for delivery and take-out but have discovered a few with the help of this site.
Here are just a few of my new Carlingwood area spots
Difficult to find location but great Thai food and slightly less expensive than a lot of the other West-end Thai shops.
Golden Palace
Strictly for the egg rolls, you either love them or hate them. I happen to be of the former camp.
Dirt cheap and delicious Carribean food. They never have half the items on the menu but the frustration is worth it, fantastic curried chicken and "dirty" rice
For a site that I've only recently just discovered but is even more user-interactive and features photos of the restaurants dishes also look at http://www.ottawafoodies.com
