Flight 3407- A Moment of Prayer!

it doesn't take much for life to come to a standstill. We all tend to exhibit those familiar emotions with any loss, tragedy, or mishap. Some of you may have family, friends, or associates that were lost. Despite the challenges and objectives we face here in the Active Rain family, let us take a moment of reflection and prayer for those that were lost and thier families. We're all a part of this family and are touched greatly! Remember today and always what's really important!

Prisoner ReEntry Programs Increases! Is It Happening in Your Neighborhood?

May be you don't, but some of us who live in the inner cities are faced with the question of what do we do about the sons and daughters who are returning to our communities after a stint in jail or prison. Is this news to you? The courts along with the churches, civic leaders, social workers, and other support staff are working with community support groups to try to lend a hand to these persons who want to try to change their lives. There's housing out there and well there are social agencies who will need housing for various social ills. We can't allow them to roam the streets or can we? Some of you may take the side of some of the neighbors at a recent neighbohood citizens group meeting who out right said no to even thinking about providing housing for these men and women who are returning home. Where do you stand as a citizen, neighbor, homeowner, real estate agent, or family member. Will you at least consider this rehabilitated person to return to the neighborhood? What about partnering with your local social agencies supported by the United Way. You have a house in which you're not able to sell nor rent in this economy. Here's a great way for you to make money while giving back ! Isn't this a win-win situation? Will you turn your back? Is it happening in your neighborhood?

Thank you! Procrastinationstation- It's for Real!

I would like to thank all you fellow real estate agents those old ,new, successful, and unsuccessful who have read about this new group! I managed to get a few things accomplished the other day that I had put off for the past week. Call it a habit but it felt great to realize succcess. Personally, I'm very successful but for some reason I procrastinate or avoid getting things done which may not hurt me but it affects the other person. In addition, it has the potential to be costly! Besides members, I would like to invite you to share your stories here at procrastinationstation! What are you accomplishing today that you have scheduled for tomorrow? " Changing any bad habit takes time but doing something about it today helps...
