I am happy to say that Ty(his new name is Bruno), our foster pup got a GREAT home this past weekend! He is such a wonderful guy and now has a wonderful family! He lives in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte, NC. He has a new sister, her name is Ava. She is an American bulldog and just the kind of girl to play extra rough with Bruno. He gets to sleep in the bed with his new mom, dad and sister...bet there is no room left in that bed and he is loved very much!!!!

Jennifer and Christain and wonderful doggie parents and I have talked with Jennifer a few times since Bruno went to live with them and they are still so very excited that he is theirs forever! I am sad to see most of our foster babies leave but I am also very excited when I have people like Jennifer and Christain adopt them because I know I do not have to worry about them again!

This is Cindy. She was pulled from animal control 10 minutes before she was scheduled to be killed. She is a good dog! She is athletic and would do great with an active family! A fenced backyard is a must because she needs space to play and another dog in the family would be great too. She gets along with other dogs and enjoys tug-a-war and a good game of chase!

She is house trained and is ready to be adopted. Right now she spends 24/7 at the Animal Supply House in Rock Hill, SC. On occasion she gets lucky and a foster home or volunteer will take her home with them for a day or two but sitting in a pen most of the day is getting old!

Here is a great little guy that is staying with us until we find the perfect forever home for him. His name is Ty and he is a handsome boxer mix. He is solid white with a few black fleckles on his skin, mostly his skin is pink. He is playful and is trying to understand what good manners are...we are working very hard on that. After he settles down after we arrive home he is a perfect gentleman. He enjoys snuggling up in the recliner or in bed...oh, did I tell you he loves to sleep in our bed. He is mostly house trained, he does great for a 5.5 month old male pup. He has been neutered and has 1 set of shots left. He is strictly an indoor dog, he would sunburn easily. He had a rough start as a pup and deserves a great home and would do well with another dog or as single dog with people that like to spend a lot of time with him. Please give me a call if you think you may be that perfect forever home.

My husband and I work with the Animal Adoption League in York County, SC. My husband was reading AAL emails during the week when a notice came out for an Alaskan Malamute due to die on 03/13/2009 at 5pm. We are malamute people, this is our favorite breed, we have 1 now that we show. I have had pictures of Zeus on my blog before, he is the apple of our eye! Anyway, my husband could not let anything bad happen to this gorgeous guy so I picked him up just a few hours before his scheduled time of death. Friday the 13th is not always an unlucky day....just ask Echo! He is searching for his forever home so if you know of someone looking for a goregous, very large dog give us a call!
