Some recent fun events at Sun City Mesquiteincluded the May 15th Salute to Armed Forces Day where I joined in the fun and competed in the Putting Tournament along with several of my colleages and Sun City Mesquite residents. Although my team lost (our residents are really good putters), we had a wonderful time enjoying the near perfect weather here in Mesquite! Wine Tasting Tour of the Pahrump Valley Winery, May 13th - Pahrump, Nevada
It's a little known fact, but there is a winery in the desert about an hour outside of Las Vegas!! The Pahrump Valley Winery is just a short drive from Mesquite. The perfect way to spend the day with your friends and enjoy a day of wine tasting and fine dining! Our Sun City Mesquite residents, and of course me included, recently toured the winery, enjoyed a delicious lunch and tasted some of the fine wines offered at the winery. My favorite was a hearty Burgundy. Can't wait to go again!!

The month of March is holding true to the old adage "in like a lion......" only this time I'm not referring to the weather, but to the activity here at Sun City Mesquite! This is a wonderful time of the year to come for a visit, take in a little golf on our world-class Conestoga Golf Course, head out to the tennis courts, or enjoy a nice dinner at one of our fine dining restaurants.
