I recently received an email from a buyer who said they found me online and were interviewing buyers agents. They had a list of about 25 questions ranging from How many years have I been in business to how quickly do I respond to emails. I filled out and answered all questions. They client came into meet me and chose me to help them purchase there next home. I soon found out that this email went out to about 8-10 agents. Only 3 responded. One agent was an irate agent saying how dare you interview me as well as one other agent that answered half of the questions. Well...I got the client. i took the time to answer there concerns and made them feel comfortable. The point in all this is take the time to show clients you are a professional and you WILL get business out of it. Blessings~
I think everybody wants to feel appreciated especially hard working Realtors who put there time and energy in what they do. Buyers..... Please show us the love and respect we deserve. Don't get discouraged after writing a few offers and not getting an offer accepted think it is the Agents fault for us not getting the house. It takes much effort to get an FHA offer accepted. that is a big deal especially since we are competing with full cash offers, conventional 10-10-30% down payment buyers...
Really.......we like nothing more than to please our clients and ultimately have them refer there friends and family to us. We love buyers who at the end of a transaction will hug us and say Thank you for all your help. That is a very lovely payoff. So buyers....please be patient. we are working hard for you. :)
I enjoy my kids so much. I have a high schooler that I actually love being around. He is truly a joy. I also have a 9 year old daughter who when she isn't being moody & hormonal is a pleasure to be around as well. Then there is Real estate which I work & weave into my life. I would have much more time on my hands if it weren't for my enjoyment of blogging. it takes the stress out of any day. I guess I don't want to live without it.
Is facebook just a way to be nosy or a true way to stay in touch and build a network. Or is Plaxo or linked in a value place to invest some time. I am trying to exhaust them all. So far I have found AR to be the most useful place to put my time as far as connecting with other agents. I love reading other bloggers as well.
