I learned something as I posted this. I put the photo first and it didn't allow for me to put in the words. So I deleted it and started over. The world watches the rose bowl and it brings people in droves to move here. I am so happy to be here. The people are mostly transplants like me. I was from Texas Parents, raised in Kentucky and a short time in Florida and lots of summers in Texas and here for 40 years. I said earlier it was 33. That's how long I ve been married to a California guy. I love it here and al 3 of our kids live here. Yes it get crowded and that is why we walk down to the sunset every night to watch. It makes up for the traffic and the time it takes to go anyhere and the gas prices and ....ooops thats everywhere right???
Each house has a different feel and each city. My last post was Hermosa Beach at Christmas and it looked like any day any month. Its really what they say about the Rose Bowl. People come here when they are showed in and watch our game here. But we really have a go at Christmas even without snow. Its raining now as I write this in the middle of the night in January. We have a whole Christmas lights area nearby that cars line up forever to see the lights. This neighbors home is alway dressed for every season. I sent you Halloween on a previous blog. Now I send you Christmas complete with Ferris Wheel. One side of this street in the "Avenues" has income property 2 on a lot selling in the 1.3+ range and the other side of the street has single family homes.
We have 18 for sale from 599 to 2,450.000 in these 2 mls areas of south Redondo.
2 have sold this month. 858K and 2million dollars. A small 3 br bungelow and a big 5 bedroom spanish with ocean view but not new and it was reduced 99K and 97 days on the market. An agent in our office sold it hooray Remax!
