August 23rd Century City Hospital closed. People were transferred out. I read that people were not paid for the last several weeks.
2070 Century Park East Century City Doctors Hospital was a 176 bed hospital that was like a five star hotel. Backruptcy closure ended it's three year old start. ABC stated that the officials said the closure was from inability to sell the hospital or get new financing or extend current financing.

Real estate right now is all about financing. This is the current largest reason that home prices are declining. This hospital closure is one more fact that all levels of economy are affected.
This building will be bought and restored if it is to have the fate of other real estate.
Any address in Century City has always been about success. This building will have another day.
Our heart goes out to the many people who suffered this financial loss.

Hydrogen Cars Won't Make a Difference for 40 Years ...President Bush, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the big automakers agree on this much: They love hydrogen-powered fuel cell technology and its promise of a zero-emission, petroleum-free future."

Bush and Arnold LOVE hydrogen...I don't think so. Rent a movie called NETWORK for the facts on who is running the world. OIL companies. EXXON, MOBIL, CHEVRON. When they own all the power...then they will sell it at whatever price they want. Monopoly, manipulation, lobbying, crony-ism, etc... I leased a Ford Think car. I couldn't drive from Hermosa Beach to Marina Del Rey before I ran out of power and they had to put it on a flatbed to take it to the shop- in Orange County. They finally sent all of them back. It was a scam to meet a deadline Ford didn't do. Some huge money was given to Ford to solve the problem, they ran out of time and didn't get the job done so they bought and brought over the Think and called it a FORD. It didn't work. I don't think Ford is connected to the current Smart car. I think it was just what they call re-labelling. Ford should just make a great car Americans would buy.
1.
Here is a FACT. JPL solved the problem of oil in the 1970's when we had the embargo problem. When the rocket scientists said use Hydrogen....they said no thanks, the embargo was over..It was short sighted and with BIG oil business owning a monopoly on our Government what can we expect? Bush family made it pretty clear.
2.
The ads say buy a used car now instead of an energy efficieint car as it uses energy to make it
Now WHO do you think paid for that ad? Yes the fact is true but the issue for us is to have a message sent to the White House to support world leadership in fuel and environmental effecience- or be like CUBA up to its ears in OLD cars. Its a twist - a trick ad.

New cars still pay salaries for employees. We want the jobs and work in our Country-
Get America working to lead in automotive...again! Can we do it?

My very first mission experience was in Lompoc. Mission La Purisma. I heard about the candlelight tour and signed up. It was one of the absolute TOP things I have ever done -over Disneyland, any theme park, even Shamu! And the opportunity is coming your way.
This year October 10-11 is the candlelight tour.
Imagine. walking with a small group led by a little lady with a lantern to the sunset pouring through the mission openings. As we walk we see a group of Indians at their fire and a pony and rider gallop by. The bell, the experience is truly a reenactment of the olden days. The window vignettes show many themes of the mission. The Lovely lady with a Spanish mantilla, a family making chapatas...at the table, the military men talking at a roaring fire. Finally a big finale with a friar tuck and food tables laden with food made by locals. Have I tempted you yet to say 40 dollars a ticket is worth it for each of your children and for the child in you? Check out the details and email me with thanks if you love it like we did.
