Looking up Designer I see web design and stagers and floral design. The rare Interior Designer is a designation that is somewhat unfamiliar to the everyday citizen.

The Interior Designer is a person trained to create the interior architecture of a property. In Century City the Interior Design company of Pope and Associates Interior Space Planning and Design Inc. is well known for the improvement of many offices since 1986. Usually in 5 years there is a change that will require the companies services. A local Rotarian and past President, Robert Pope served in the Century City area.

So this is how an Interior Design Firm works-

They meet with a client and see what the overall scope of work will need to include. The designer works to see what new furniture will be needed and cover the power, phone and Internet connections to the workplace. The overall feeling and colors state the quality of impact the company is working to express. There are many layers to the total design.

Before construction the working drawings become a legal document that will show what work will take place. The blueprints will be sent out for 3 bids and compared for pricing. If there is a big swing in the numbers it is sometimes the error on the bidder and can be spotted on a spreadsheet. Each contractor gets a chance to make a good offer or correction.

During construction the Designer is on hand to note the work and completion. If there is a change then a change or add form is agreed to and signed.

I was just searching photos when up came Kristal Kraft. Her 2007 year in review, her photo instructions anytime, anywhere, read a huge library of her blogs. Wow.

Internet communication on the ipod. It can seem overwhelming when you blog and ask about The future of Iphones and wonder if you will get one now with the voice. The "Talkies took over film" Remember?

I predict that the virtual person speaking into the camera will break down a lot of walls.

Public speaking foes...go to toastmasters now. I used to be afraid of buttons. Now I just punch away and see what they do. With the training right here on active rain I am in a very safe playground with really wonderful teachers and playmates.

Kristal mentioned the blog training coming up Tuesday. I wish I lived closer. 25 dollars - what a deal. Denver has always been a great place for people to share knowledge. It must be the mountain water. Years ago I was an interior designer and did a design project there called Integrated Resources. Anyone remember that? It was a wonderful idea for people to buy in one stop shopping any resource. Then the Federal Gov. changed the rules and it zapped that idea.

Top news for Redondo Beach School kids, parents, and Real Estate, it is ahead of all the other South Bay Schools for having the most 10/10 schools. Jefferson, Madison, and Beryl Heights elementary.

Let it be said for Manhattan Beach that they scored 966 out of one thousand points. All said it means a gread deal for the entire South Bay. Torrance has a section called Hollywood Riveria which along with Hermosa, and Palos Verdes schools continue to make our Real Estate prices kept high in reach. Families just want to know they are getting the best for the home purchase in the local schools.
