Hey family! I am going to start sending out a monthly reminder to everyone. Please communicate the information in this email to those in your home to make sure everyone is receiving this email. "Bible and Beach '09" - Please help us by reminding students the last day to register will be midnight February 21st. The information is on the website at www.highschoolcollide.org and then click on Bible and Beach '09. Scholarship applications can be found at the registration table in the main atrium or at the registration table in the YAC. We still need more C-group leaders and host families to partner with us, so please let us know if you can make it. The cost is $200 per volunteer. "Family Get-Together" (Leader Training) - This will be February 25th. We are going to give the Feinn family a break, albeit they love having us. We want everyone there on this night. We will meet here at the church at 6pm and eat together. The meeting will be over at 8:30pm. I am hoping to have someone from the Care Ministries to share with us of how to effectively come alongside students in difficult situations/circumstances. "Sweep the Block" - This is a wonderful opportunity for us to show our gratitude towards our church and the new building (The Block). This is ONLY for parents and adult volunteers in the ministry, so we may unveil the building to our students when we launch. This happens from 9am to 11:30am every Saturday morning. Since we have been serving on Saturday mornings we have saved the church more than $15,000! It is also an opportunity for you to walk through the Block if you haven't already and hear just how we will steward this building to advance the Kingdom. Have a great night tonight! If you have questions please feel free to contact me. Look forward to seeing you Wednesday, February 25th. Much love, Chad Well, it's been 9 days since we've had electricity, so I've decided that we should become a bit more traditional in our approach to surviving this cold season in Louisville Kentucky. I've polished off my old musket while Lynn filled up the kettle down at the creek. I haven't worn these woolens for some time. I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes. Thank you kindly for all of your prayers.
