Folks, just like real estate agents have the Realtors Association, home Stagers have the International Association of Home Staging Professionals, or IAHSP. The IAHSP conducts surveys of markets conditions and how they apply to the home staging industry. And the most current info shows that staging is STILL an important part of selling a home:
Fully 94.6% of all homes that are staged by a member of the IAHSP sell within 35 days. A non-staged home remains on the market, on average, for 175 days. Yes, my friends, you read that correctly. So the solution for those who either want or need to sell their home is, Home Staging!
Hello all, I wanted to write a bit more about me:
As you know, I own a HOME STAGING business, which gets your home ready for sale by Staging it as a "model" home that buyers will adore. I love what I do because it's creative, and it really HELPS people save money!
Here's why: Have me Stage your listing, and your house will sell in 32 days (on average). Non-staged homes take 160 days to sell! And the cost of Staging your home is about 1/8 the cost of a typical price reduction.
I would encourage you to always choose an Accredited Stager to get the job done right--just like a Realtor holds to a code of conduct and professionalism, so does an Accredited Stager.
I also re-design homes for folks who aren't moving but want a change without starting all new. I love design and I do it all: Interior design, exterior curb appeal, landscape & water features. I have even re-made several commercial interiors as well!
While I design in all periods & styles, my personal favs are sleek modern & contemporary interiors, as well as mid-20th Century modern.
More to come!
