A few years ago, my family decided to figure out what type of dinner we would have every Christmas. After a long debate, it was decided that we would have a seafood dinner to celebrate Christmas every year. Since we are veterans and still have access to the commissary, we usually would shop at the commissary for our seafood. This year, my wife decided she would like to get our seafood from the well know Pike Market in Seattle. She did a little research to see what vendor she would be interested in buying the seafood from. During her research, she found out that the market was 9 acres. 9 acres is a large facility. She found a vendor online that had everything we are having and we found them as soon as we pulled in the market. Thanks for the internet!
This is a photo of the vendor. It is amazing how these guys work. They are very efficient in how orders are taken and filled. Fresh fish thrown in the air to be fillet. It was an experience. I've lived not far from the warf in D.C. but it was nothing like what I experienced today. We did notice that the prices were a little higher than what we are used to. Since it is fresh I can live with it.
