Look at the above numbers and it looks as if the Burbank and Glendale market have taken a big hit. In order to get an accurate picture of the market you must also take into consideration the amount of inventory on the market and look at more than just one month. If you would like to sit down for a more in depth review of the market and the pros and cons of getting into the real estate market please feel free to call Mario Villagran @ (818) 416-7511 or email me @ mvillagran@cfgrealty.com.

What's going on in Burbank

Not everything we do needs to cost a large amount of money or any money at all. Some us have gotten away from enjoying the things that are readily available to us in our own backyard. One of the things that I'm involved in and recommend for some of you to get out and see is a Burbank Parochial baseball league.MatthewAustin

I have 2 sons playing and one is enjoying his first year in T-ball and the other is enjoying his first year in fast pitch. It is great to watch these kids play and have fun while us parents get uptight about who is winning. We need to learn from these kids and how they are just happy being out there. There's a lot we can learn from our children and one is to remember how it is to be a kid. Brett Noel published a list on one of his blogs and it was a list of 40 things to do in this new year to enhance our lives. One item that sticks out in my head was to spend more time with people over 70 and under 6. Being at the park is a perfect way to do this. I am learning so much from peoples' past experiences and from watching these children have innocent fun. We're enjoying great weather in Southern California so get out and take a walk to one of these parks and catch a game that is played for fun. Get to know some of your neighbors and let's continue to be a strong community. There will be games played tonight and thru Sunday. Here's a list of some of the parks where games are held, Mccambridge, Olive, Valley, and Pacific. Great weather, healthy exercise, and great entertainment. I hope to see you out there.

Fine Dining Experience

I took a friend out for his birthday monday night and we decided on sushi. One more friend joined us and they both suggested that we try this restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. I had a babysitter for the night so I was game. We went to Takami located @ 811 Wilshire Blvd. 21st Floor LA, CA 90017. You can visit their website @ www.takamisushi.com and/or make reservations by calling 213-236-9600. Normally when I'm introduced to a new restaurant with a wonderful view I expect to be paying for the view and not so much the food. The food at Takami proved me wrong. The albacore, spicy tuna rolls, calamari, and chicken skewers were some of the best I've ever had. The martinis were a great compliment to our meal. The view was very impressive. View from Takami

Fellas if you really want to impress your date, this is the place. I almost forgot to mention the furniture, it was a nice touch of class and very comfortable.
