What my mastermind group has done for me

02-08-10
Margo Murray

Over the last 2 years I've been part of a mastermind group that has truly kept me focused, kept me more productive and accountable. It is amazing how when you declare to other people what your intentions are for the next month and the closer the meeting comes I get to hustle to finish what I said I would do and it has increased my prospecting and lead follow up calls to get the listings and sales I declared I would have.

We follow the master mind outline in Jack Canfields book. The Success Principles.

The 8 of us meet once a month same day of week, same time and we also e-mail once a week
an update on our wins and specific goals. We start the meeting with a prayer, than each one of us
has 10 minutes (we use a cooking timer) so each gets the same time. We end it with a positive
quote and off we are to another month of accomplishments.

I can highly recommend to you to join or start your own mastermind group. It has made a huge difference in my production and the systems I've implemented to provide better service for our clients.

Jumbo money is available again and we have some great programs up to $5 million. Please share this with anyone you know who needs help in the jumbo loan market as there are very few companies who have competitive jumbo loans. Dean Rathbun at Avis, has super rates for jumbo financing. I've worked with Dean for 10 years and he is by far the best loan broker.

The importance of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

08-24-08
Margo Murray

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac not only insure mortgages, but they also create the lending guidelines that almost every lending institution in America abides by. So, even if a bank is not selling their loans to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, they surely are using the same underwriting tools and restrictions so that they have a marketable security for wall street to purchase. And yes, EVERY bank scrutinizes their mortgages on wall street. Even if the bank continues to service the loan. My lender Dean Rathbun assures me that if Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac went out of business, real estate as we know it today would cease to exist. Dean also sent me this great article below.

Interesting article on the NY Times website at http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/14/washington/14fannie.html which explains how the FED indirectly and directly helps to keep these mega powers in existence. For the FED to intervene and make sure that money is available to these agencies shows how important they are to our economy and the way that America exists.

SAMLARC ARENA OPENS

On September 16, 2007 the SAMLARC Board of Directors officially opened the SAMLARC Arena (formally Skate Central) in Central Park for use by Arena Soccer Leagues. The expanded use of the Arena to include soccer gives more field space to this very popular sport.

The AYSO-630 League will be hosting the youth arena soccer teams. RSM Arena Soccer, a brand new league to the area, is proud to host the first organized outdoor adult sport in SAMLARC. For more information on either league check out their websites at: www.ayso630.com or www.rsmarenasoccer.com.

Both leagues presented short exhibition games to an eager crowd. Arena soccer takes place on a shorter field where the walls are in play, making for a fast paced and exciting game.
