Travel down Concord Rd and the first large subdivision you will come to is Brenthaven. Having been established in the mid-1960's this neighborhood offers a wide variety of price & sq footage as well as age. Having been one of the more established neighborhoods in Brentwood and expanding from the corner of Lipscomb Drive to east at the corner of Knox Valley and further South to Covington Drive, the neighborhood is hemmed in by an elementary school, local library, walking trails, bike trails, YMCA which includes a skate board park, the Williamson Country Rec center a more. It is truly a neighborhood to live and play. The affordability of this neighborhood coupled with the fact it is zoned for Lipscomb Elementary and Brentwood Middle and Highschool(ranked nationally 192nd and 1st in state) further adds to its attractiveness. In addition, the neighborhood is situated right off of Interstate I-65 making its convenience another attraction. If older homes are not for you, this neighborhood further expanded in the 1980's and early 1990's with homes along Knox Valley Drive. Right off of Knox Valley is a new neighborhood with homes 1-4 years old in a section called "Park Side." Obviously the newer the homes the more expensive they become. Homes in both of theseneighborhoods have yards equal to one acre or more. Older homes along Lipscomb Drive and close by start around $360+ depending on sq footage, and the newer homes in Park Side average closer to $800,000. Many of the homes have been remodeled.

When you combine beautiful land, community parks, libraries, recreation centers, abundant jobs, town squares, festivals, county fairs and more to an area, it is only likely that it will boom. Not only will it boom, but it will also attract others to come and grow with it. Saturn was the beginning of the boom area for Williamson county in the 80's. The Galleria Mall at Cool Springs came around soon after and what was once a farily rural area became a boom tow. Nissan has just relocated one of its main offices to the Cool Springs area of Franklin and the list goes one. Business after business continue to open and relocate here.
For those of us who are native to this area, we certainly understand why. Afterall, we couldn't keep everyone out of Eden forever. People that relocate to this area, stay and love it. Even though we can have extremely hot summers, summer is followed up by a beautiful fall with gorgeous colors, and we usually get a couple of good snows. Winter doesn't last long and is followed by a lovely spring. Seasons do come and go here unlike climates in Flordia. The people are friendly. The cost of living is relatively low, and the school systems in Williamson County are rated as some of the highest in the state and also rank nationally.
It has long been known that Williamson County zip codes are rated amongst the top choices in the nation as best places to live. People relocating to this area have already heard the buzz words of Brentwood, Franklin, and Cool Springs. The zip codes also rank nationally as far as high income per capita.
In the past 5 years, Williamson County cities & schools have made it onto at least nine "best places" lists according to the Tennessean's Mitchell Kline. The county's most recent ranking-third "skinniest" place to live according to CNN-Money.com is its latest award. How silly the award might be, it still brings recognition to the area. Maybe is just a reflection of the beautiful parks and recreation centers made so available to the public.
Other awards of the last 5 years are as follows:

This past year I was nominated to a group called the "Fairvue 100." Basically, it is really a marketing tool for a neighborhood called Fairvue Plantation, located on the outskirts of Nashville in Gallatin, TN. They pulled 100 agents and gave them concierge privileges to their neighborhood. Fairvue Plantation is a neighborhood situated around Old Hickory Lake and intertwined with 2 beautiful golf courses, a fantastic club house and guest cottages. As a member of the Fairvue 100 I have the privilege of making a phone call, setting up a free and I must add delectable lunch for my clients, a round of golf if they so desire and overnight privileges in their guest cottage. When you leave there, you leave feeling so special. Actually, I wish I could take at least 1 client a month out there because I enjoy it so much too. What a great marketing tool! Of course, when you leave you are sold on this fabulous style of living and can't wait to bring your next client there, and they can't wait to sign on the dotted line. My hats are off to Fairvue Plantation and the marketing guru who thought up such a wonderful plan!!!! If relocating to Nashville, you must give me a call. I would love to extend the privilege to you!
If you are looking to relocate to Nashville, TN then make sure you find a realtor that is really willing to listen. One of the most important qualities that you will find in a realtor is being a good listener. Good listening doesn't just involve hearing wha one says. It also involves reading body language, hearing undertones, calculating responses and adding all of those things up to be able to visualize and understand a client's wants and desires in a home. A good realtor will listen, calculate, watch and then ask clairfying questions and listen again. It is those attributes that set me a part as a buyer's agent. In the same way I use some of those same attritubutes as listing agent; hoever, selling a home requires additional skills as well. As a native Nashvillian, I am very knowledgeable about the city as well as pocket communities. Different communities attract different buyers which equates to knowledge coupled with applied skill + right marketing techniques = right buyer for your home.
Yes, I too love Real Estate just like many other agents out there; however, strong work ethic, accessibility, good communication skills and a strong knowledge f the market set me a part. Check out my client testimonies under "about me."
I love this great city of Nashville. I love the community, the history and most of all I love sharing it with new people moving here. I do it with great pride and lots of joy.
