The excitement is just beginning for Kent Myers of Whidbey Island, Washington, the lucky winner of the $2.1 million dream house in San Rafael CA. With homes and buildings designed by prominent architects and builders such as Frank Lloyd Wright, William Wurster, Charles Warren Callister, Raphael Soriano, Claude Oakland, and Joseph Eichler, Marin County reads like a Who’s Who of mid-century modern architecture. Already a state and national landmark, the Marin Civic Center has recently been nominated for a place on the United Nation’s World Heritage list.
