Cold day here in Vail. But if it is too cold to ski today feel free to drop by my listing at 387 Beaver Dam Circle. Ski-In home, right next to the Gondola in Lionshead. The home was built in 2000 but it feels brand new. 5 bedrooms including a caretaker studio.

The Mountain is 97% open and we've had almost 150 inches of snow so far. This is the season for a Vail trip or the purchase of a Vail home.
On the real estate front, as opposed to the skiing front, there is a noticeable uptick in activity in the market. The three new projects in town, the Ritz Carlton, The Four Seasons, and Solaris, are all open and looking great. After all the years of construction, Vail is looking better than ever.
I'm actually crazy busy right now. Closing on Tuesday....offers submitted....another closing mid January. What I'm trying to say is please forgive the lack of details in this blog post. I basically just wanted to show you the video.
What an amazing November for skiers and it isn't over yet. The mountain is in great shape. You really should be here.

Nearly 3 feet of powder in the last week. Vail is certainly ready for center stage. Not only is the Mountain looking great but the town has never looked better. The almost 2 Billion (that is a B) Dollar Vail Renewal is almost complete. The Ritz Carlton Residences are open. Solaris, the new town center, is open, and the Four Seasons opens on December 11. Vail finally has a Town base with the same quality as our on-mountain experience. Vail Mountain is going to open on Friday. We've had over two feet of snow the past few days with much more on the way. It is going to be a great season and amazing Opening Weekend.
As far as Real Estate goes, there is plenty of activity. Lots of showings, lots of closings, lots of offers. Looks like we are reaching equilibrium between buyers and sellers. Realism has reared its head in the Vail Real Estate Market.
