The available Jonathan Edwards wine offered from harvested grapes from the Sierra Foothills of California is a 2006 Zinfandel.
There are wines sitting in the barrels that are just not ready to enjoy as of yet... But be patient, they will be available as soon at the harvesting process is complete.
Wine tastings and tours are offered here at Johathan Edwards, along with many wonderful events... Or if you wish, just stop to sample a glass of wine or to buy a bottle of this local and UNIQUE New England creation.

Bugs! I don't care for them usually. I must say that the one bug that I am fascinated with is the butterfly.
There is a place that my family loves to visit in South Deerfield, Massachusetts called 'Magic Wings' Butterfly Conservatory.
Before we went there, I did some research and learned that butterflies are attracted to bright colors such as red and pink. Boy were they! There were hundreds of these fluttering creatures in this indoor garden. We were warned that they will land on us and they sure did.
The variety of colors shapes and sizes of butterflies here is quite a magnificent sight to see. We spent nearly 2 hours just hanging around with them in aw as they fluttered by us. The temperature inside here is balmy 80-85 degrees, just like butterflies like it... so dressing light is important.
There really is something wonderfully magical about visiting here.
It is a carefree and peaceful experience.
My family has definitely taken a liking to these creatures... And always request to come back here.
In my opinion, this is the kind of place that creates the best childhood memories.
This butterfly came by and landed on my head AND it stay there for at least 30 minutes!
It is about a 1 hour and 20 minutes drive to 'Magic Wings' Butterfly Conservatory & Gardens from Connecticut's New London County.
It is really is worth the trip.

No need to wait for the
any longer.
Santa Claus has already come to town.
He is in malls across America as of November 11th, 2008.
When I was a kid, a sighting of Santa would never have been until the very end of that spectacular Macy's Day parade in New York City.
I have memories of watching the TV on Thanksgiving Day, waiting patiently until the end of this parade... To watch this jolly old elf ride up in his sleigh, pulled by Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen.... You know the rest. I'd get butterflies in my stomach when I saw him. To me, it meant that the Christmas season was OFFICIAL here!
Times have changed for he is an early bird now.
Well, what the heck... We might as well jump on into the early to the festivities. (Yes... I admit, I do love Christmastime).

Nah.... Me neither. I would love to go though...
Really!
(I'm just too busy right now being a mom, wife, and person helping people to buy and sell real estate.)

Instead, my kids and I went to the Rainforest Cafe at the Westfarms Mall in West Hartford, CT. It was a real treat.
.
The designers behind this restaurant have really done a great job to make this an adventurous dining experience!
.
The entrance of this eatery is a huge archway aquarium filled beautiful and colorful tropical fish. Inside there are even more tropical fish aquariums to view.
.
Every 20 minutes, there is a 'thunderstorm' with flashing lights and 'rain' coming down on the sides of the walls and waterfalls.
. 
Even the apes come out and play by punching their chests and making "ooh ooh" noises! It is too funny!
.
The elephants will even flap their ears and bray to the people!
.

.
We had to watch ourselves in the archway to the restroom because a leaping lizard lurks above and, who knows... it could have licked us with his long slimy tongue!!

.
Upon leaving, we throw a penny or two into the crocodiles mouth for good luck.
