Snohomish County, WA., has had the biggest personal income gains in the US, percentage wise in the last five years followed by King County, WA., coming in at #9 according to the Snohomish County Business Journal. (TPI is defined as the income received by all people from all sources in a given year.)This should be an indication of greater things to come? Snohomish County also had the highest number of new construction starts in the first quarter, I'm not too sure the economist I've listened to may just be a tad bit off with regards to when we will actually see a full recovery. With these and other US Major counties seeing upward increases in income this has to be moving in the right direction for everyone.
Hum-mm this is interesting! For Senior Citizens and the Disabled persons of Snohomish County which encompasses the Marysville, Everett, Lynnwood, Arlington, Mountlake Terrace, Lake Stevens, Bothell cities and many others, this could really add up to a big chuck of an estate at a sale depending on the assessed property values in the different areas. I would bet the IRS will have something to say if it's not paid at such time as the property is sold too. I would recommend anyone thinking of taking a deferral on their property taxes seek the advice of a professional before doing so.
The residence of Marysville may be caught off guard to find that there are plans to build a new Walmart Super Center near them. The company has recently revisited the city and are currently going through the permit process to continue development at this site. Now there are two other Walmarts within a 5 mile radius and may pose some traffice problems. What would you do if there was a 183,000 square foot superstore next door to you?
