You've heard the expression "teach a man to fish", well that's what
my dad tought me. Growing up my father worked as a General
contractor and REALTOR.
No matter where we lived I would help him with his business. I would
address open house invitations and mail them, file paperwork, it was
my small way of spending quality time with my father. Little did I
know that he was teaching me the tools that I would now use in my own
business.
When I obtained my license in 2004 I had the opportunity to work with
any firm I wanted. I chose to work with my father in what is now
known as Gann Realty. I wanted to be the first child to make my
father money instead of costing him money. So far I have succeeded
despite the gloom and doom of the media and the housing market.
So this blog is to publically say THANK YOU to my father for teaching
me to have a passion for helping people. I love my profession. I
love that it allows me the freedom to spend time with my beautiful
daughter Isobella, my sexy husband and my fat dog named Gizmo. Thank
you for allowing me to share my pride and gratitude to one of my
heroes, my dad Tom Gann.
